TVR 1 is a predominantly informative, balanced, reliable channel, which has set out to become the main source of information for Romanians. TVR 1 focused on the transmission of essential information for viewers: news, talk-shows, reports, investigations, documentaries, analysis shows. News, special editions, breaking news, publicity, educational and social programs, programs in the languages of national minorities, religion, economy are broadcast on TVR 1.
