SKAI broadcasts an informative program of general content. An important part of its program consists of News Bulletins that fully record the events. At the same time, it presents broadcasts of investigative journalism, informative broadcasts focusing on the environment, entrepreneurship and international current affairs, talk shows with interviews and debates and sports broadcasts. The main axis of the program in the evening zone is entertainment shows based on internationally successful formats and aimed at family entertainment. The entertainment program is framed by Greek shows of various subjects, cooking, music, cars, cinema, travel, health, satirical shows, TV knowledge games. An important part of the program are foreign fiction, crime, social, science fiction series as well as cinema, Greek and foreign, classic and contemporary with cinematic successes from the biggest production studios. SKAI was the first to bring the typology of documentaries to private television by making large investments, as a co-producer in international productions as well as in Greek documentaries of historical, scientific and cultural content. Even in conditions of economic crisis, it continued to invest in documentaries. SKAI, a technological pioneer, was the first to introduce the 16:9 format to Greek television and the first to start producing and broadcasting high definition content.
