Nippon Television Network Corporation is a consolidated subsidiary of Nippon Television Holdings, and is a specified terrestrial basic broadcaster that provides television broadcasting in the Kanto area . It was the first commercial television station to open in Japan , and the oldest commercial television station in Japan . It is generally called Nippon Television (JOAX-DTV) or NTV (Nittele).
