ZDFneo

The television station ZDFneo replaced the ZDFdokukanal on November 1, 2009. The station sees itself as a public broadcasting alternative for 25 to 49 year olds. The television program consists of realistic entertainment programs, service programs, documentaries, reports, late night and personality shows, quiz shows, documentary soaps, feature films and series. On ZDFneo's television program in the morning you usually see nature and travel documentaries such as "Terra X", followed by the cooking show "The Kitchen Battle". During the day you can see numerous crime series such as “Psych” or “Monk” in the program. At the weekend ZDFneo shows nature, travel or knowledge formats, comedy and factual entertainment, and in the evenings fictional series or television and feature films. ZDFneo also has several award-winning series in its German premiere.
