The special-interest channel ORF III Culture and Information offers a broad stage for art, culture, contemporary history, documentation, science, information and Austrian film. One of the main pillars of ORF III Culture and Information is live reporting from the Austrian Parliament with more than 400 hours of live political broadcasts of the plenary sessions of the National Council, the Federal Council, studies and committees. Since its launch in 2011, ORFIII has established itself very well among audiences interested in culture and is considered one of the most successful cultural broadcasters in German-speaking countries.
