MBC TV

MBC TV is a metropolitan area operated by Munhwa Broadcasting Co., Ltd. It is a terrestrial TV channel with visible viewing rights, and is a semi-public broadcasting station. It was founded on August 8, 1969 , and its headquarters is located in Digital Media City, Sangam-dong , Mapo -gu, Seoul . It is building a national broadcasting network with 16 Munhwa Broadcasting-affiliated terrestrial broadcasters in other regions of Korea. MBC dramas are exported to 100 countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. Dae Jang Geum has high audience ratings in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong; its popularity has continued in 91 countries, including Japan. Other dramas that have enjoyed high viewership include Jumong, Coffee Prince, Moon Embracing the Sun, Yi San, Queen Seondeok, and Dong Yi.
