La 1 is the first regular television service in Spain and RTVE's flagship television channel. It has responsible, quality and diverse public service programming, in which all viewers have a place. It covers information, entertainment, the best of national and foreign fiction and the broadest coverage of events of general interest. It is known for broadcasting mainstream and generalist programming, including Telediario news bulletins, prime time drama, cinema and entertainment, and major breaking news, sports and special events.
