New Zealand’s indigenous media organisation, Whakaata Māori screens free-to-air and on demand programming that informs, educates and entertains. We were established to promote, revitalise and normalise the Māori language. Many of our programmes are bilingual, in both Māori and English, the majority are subtitled and there is something for everyone to enjoy.
